As the weather gets cooler, and people are living inside their homes more, Habitat becomes busier.

During these cooler months, Habitat for Humanity of Livingston County begins to see more and more need for assistance from families with children discovering leaky roofs, senior citizens in need of a furnace, and individuals that have been making do with an unsafe home.

This holiday season we are asking for assistance with these home repairs through our
Adopt a Home for the Holidays Campaign

As an adoptee, you will receive updates on the project you have adopted including pictures and the opportunity to be on-site volunteering if the project requires the help of volunteers.
As an adoptee, you will receive information on your family and how your help changed their lives.

  • Your time and financial support are greatly appreciated.  

  • Gifts of land can be very beneficial.  

  • New building materials and services offered by tradespeople are especially welcome during build activities.

  • Donations to the ReStore of good used furniture, appliances and building materials help with the ongoing fund raising effort.

Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
We raise all our funds locally and receive

no funding from Habitat for Humanity International.
