program is a straightforward,
rapid-response safety initiative focused on
independence. We provide and install up to
three heavy-duty grab bars per household
to help you navigate your home with confidence and peace of mind.
Transparent Pricing
We keep this program accessible to everyone in our community through two straightforward pricing structures based on annual household income:
Income at or below $55,000/year: The grab bars and dependable installation are 100% FREE.
Income above $55,000/year: A flat, affordable service fee of $75 total (covers up to three grab bars and complete installation).
Program Details
What's Included: Up to three (3) high-quality safety grab bars, all heavy-duty mounting hardware, and professional on-site installation by a vetted Habitat technician.
Where We Install: Key high-risk areas including bathtubs, showers, and adjacent to toilets.
Timeline: Once approved, installations are typically scheduled and completed quickly in a single visit.
