A Brush With Kindness (ABWK)
This is a program where Livingston Habitat will partner with a family to perform repairs on their home. The work will be done by volunteers. The family is expected to participate in the work and will be responsibile to cover the costs of materials.

Home Ownership Program
The Habitat Home Ownership Program allows families in sub-standard and / or unaffordable housing an opportunity to own an efficient home at an affordable price
Program Requirements:

The Family has 6 months residency in Livingston County

There is a verifiable need for a better housing situation

The family meets the program income limits

The family can qualify for a mortgage

The family is willing to participate in the build through sweat equity

H.O.P.E Program
(Home Ownership Preparation and Education Program)
Home Ownership Preparation Education is a new program through Livingston County Habitat for Humanity to get hardworking low-income families financially ready to own their own home. Anyone in the community is eligible for this program as long as they have an income between 30% and 80% of the Average Median Income for Livingston County. This program is not restricted for families that are looking to go through our Home Ownership Program.
Families that are accepted into the HOPE Program will work to become financially ready to take on a mortgage for a new home either through our Home Ownership Program or through traditional means. Please fill out the application below if you think you qualify for the HOPE program.

Safety Grab Bar Program
Habitat for Humanity is proud to offer complimentary safety grab bars for community members that meet the following requirements:
Program Requirements:

Live in Livingston County

Own their home (or have landlord permission waiver)

Have a household income of $55,000/year or less.

Sign a release of liability.
